In 1980, the Indian government created the valley of Flowers park, and later in 2002, it was recognized as a United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage website. This pushed the Valley of Flowers on the bucket list of trekkers from around the world.

Dayara Bugyal

Hampta Pass Trek

You must do that trek as a result of it’s one in all the foremost dramatic crossover treks within the country pass. The Hampta pass is a must-do trek in Himachal, something which you can’t miss. It begins from the beautiful green valleys of Kullu through a gorge-like valley to an  overhang high within the mountains. From the pass, you’ll see the whole Spiti valley in one wide bird’s-eye view. Hampta pass is somewhere at the height of around 4270 m in Pir Panjal range giving a panoramic view of the himalayan snow capped mountains.

The lake ‘Chandratal’ which literally translates to ‘The Lake of Moon’. This lake is the point of attraction for Hampta Pass which is a crescent shaped lake and it is said that it changes its colors almost throughout the day. Camping near this lake is the best part of this trek as who doesn’t love stargazing and jamming besides the bonfires.

Kedarkantha Trek

Kedarkantha is one of the most popular treks in Uttarakhand. Kedarkantha may be a crest of the Himalaya in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is twelve,500 ft (3,800 m). Kedarkantha is found among Govind life Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. Generally Kedarkantha is a trek which can be done in all seasons but if you want the best of this trek then i think winters is the best time to go.

You will get to see the snow covered mountains and experience the trekking with snow covered paths and get a stunning view of sunsets and sunrise taking place in between the mountains creates the most breathtaking view.

The main reason for this trek being so famous is because of it’s breathtaking views and sceneries which is a therapy to both, our mental and physical health.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

Dayara Bugyal is the perfect start for beginners. They are the alpine pasture lands or you can also say meadows with the range of between 3300m – 4000m of the Himalayas. Dayara Bugyal is usually known for its rhododendron and deodar trees which are rich in flora and fauna. The difficulty level of this trek is easy to moderate which can be climbed by the beginners but with the help of a travel guide, well prepared and well informed. Dayara Bugyal has all the weather of an ideal chain trek — excellent forests, stunning campsites, ancient villages, thrilling climbs to high points, terrific mountain views and few of the most effective alpine meadows of Uttarakhand. These meadows are utterly blanketed in snow in winter.

Gidara Bugyal Trek

Gidara Bugyal is located in the heart of Uttarakhand and is some of the most beautiful grasslands in the world located at a high elevation of about 13900 ft. This place is located near to Dayara Bugyal. So one coming to Gidara Bugyal can also plan their trip to Dayara Bugyal or vica versa if they wish for a longer and more adventurous holiday.

The best time for this trek is pre monsoon and post monsoon which gives you the best experience of this trek. During monsoons it becomes very difficult to travel in these places as the rain water makes it difficult to climb to these places.
