Kedarkantha is found among Govind life Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. Generally Kedarkantha is a trek which can be done in all seasons but if you want the best of this trek then i think winters is the best time to go.

Dayara Bugyal is usually known for its rhododendron and deodar trees which are rich in flora and fauna. The difficulty level of this trek is easy to moderate which can be climbed by the beginners but with the help of a travel guide, well prepared and well informed. Dayara Bugyal has all the weather of an ideal chain trek ? excellent forests, stunning campsites, ancient villages, thrilling climbs to high points, terrific mountain views and few of the most effective alpine meadows of Uttarakhand. These meadows are utterly blanketed in snow in winter.

Gidara Bugyal Trek

Gidara Bugyal is located in the heart of Uttarakhand and is some of the most beautiful grasslands in the world located at a high elevation of about 13900 ft. This place is located near to Dayara Bugyal. So one coming to Gidara Bugyal can also plan their trip to Dayara Bugyal or vica versa if they wish for a longer and more adventurous holiday.

The best time for this trek is pre monsoon and post monsoon which gives you the best experience of this trek. During monsoons it becomes very difficult to travel in these places as the rain water makes it difficult to climb to these places.
