As per Adani latest news, Adani Energy Solutions, one of the biggest entities operating under the Adani Group, has made elaborate plans to spend around 360 million USD for building a transmission line that would connect the wind and solar energy park in the west Indian state of Gujarat with the power grid. This is a remarkable venture taken up by the Adani Group in order to meet the increased demand for power supply in different regions of India. The Acquisition of Halvad Transmission:

As mentioned in Adani latest news, Adani Energy Solutions Limited has recently acquired the Halvad Transmission, which is a renewable energy transmission network project operating in Gujarat. This acquisition was made through a bidding process from PFC Consulting, as stated by an Adani official in a recent Adani report. Halvad Transmission is a part of India’s national grid. PFC Consulting originally set it up to carry around 7 GW of electricity from the Khavda Solar Energy Park, which has a total generation capacity of 30 GW.  

Adani Energy Solutions Limited, which operates an extensive private power distribution network in India, has elaborate plans to commission the 765 KV Halvad transmission line. This transmission line will extend for around 301 km. It will be built within 24 months, and Adani Group will be operating and maintaining the transmission line for over 35 years. After this acquisition, Adani Energy’s cumulative transmission network will reach 20,518 circuit kilometers. This includes both installed lines and the lines being commissioned in the near future. 

India is already looking forward to increasing its non-fossil fuel power capacity to 500 GW by 2030 from 186 GW. With these efforts being undertaken by the Adani Group, this dream no longer seems to be a dream. Instead, it has turned out to be a reality for the Adani Group.
