About REET

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is an yearly test organised to fill the vacancy of the post of teacher in primary and middle school classes of RBSE Schools. This year’s REET examination is to be conducted on 25th of April 2021 for 31000 vacant posts of teachers, for which the applications began in January 2021 and ended in February 2021. About REET Exam

The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers has two levels, Level – 1 which is for those who wish to teach classes 1st to 5th and Level – 2 for those who wish to teach classes 6th to 8th. Both the levels have different courses but similar exam patterns.

There is no negative marking for any incorrect answers, +1 marks will be rewarded for every correct answer, the difficulty of the exam is as good as 12th Grade board exams.

REET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply for REET Exam shall meet the eligibility criteria, the board is very particular about it. Applicants shall lie within the age bracket of 18 to 40 years old, age relaxation is based on government rules. Education qualification required for Level – 1 and Level – 2 are as follows:

(Level – 1) Passed with at least 50% or Appearing in High School Examination from a recognised board, with a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 year Degree of Bachelors of Elementary Education  or Equivalent

(Level -2) Passed with at least 50% or Appearing in High School Examination from a recognised board, with a Degree of Bachelors of Elementary Education or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed or Equivalent.
