Instapage vs Leadpages vs Unbounce vs Clickfunnels 2022

It makes no difference to me whether you’re constructing something or selling something on the internet. Landing pages are essential, as they are responsible for converting visitors into subscribers, users, and customers.

Your landing pages need to be interesting, attention-grabbing, innovative, and optimized if you want to stay ahead of the competition.

Landing page builder software makes it easy to develop stunning landing pages from scratch, typically without the need to write any code. When it comes to landing page builders, Instapage, Unbounce, Leadpages, and Clickfunnels are the major four in terms of popularity. However, picking only one is not as simple as it may seem.

The main differences between Unbounce, Leadpages, Instapage and Clickfunnels

A quick rundown of the capabilities offered by Unbounce, Leadpages, Instapage, and Clickfunnels is shown below. After that, I’ll get into my more extensive ratings, along with some personal commentary (yes, I’ve used every single one of these products!).

Unbounce

The very first landing page software that was available was called Unbounce. Unbounce had one essential feature that set it apart from Instapage and made it the platform of choice for PPC advertisers. This feature was dynamic text replacement. Instapage did not have this capability. Scaling up large Google Ads accounts became viable as a result of this.

You can create stunning custom webpages with lead capture forms, buttons, videos, and a whole lot more by using the Unbounce Builder, which gives you the ability to construct your own webpages.

You are also able to design sticky bars for your website with Unbounce. These eye-catching forms attract people’s attention to the offerings, which helps to obtain more conversions without the need to spend for more visitors.

You have the ability to add pop-up windows, which are referred to as overlays here, when you quit, when you arrive, after a wait, when you scroll, or when you click using the editor. There is a large selection of pop-up templates for you to select from, and you are able to modify them as well. Instapage does not offer this functionality at this time.

Landing pages and pop-ups created with Unbounce may be integrated with a wide variety of email, CRM, and analytics platforms, including but not limited to MailChimp, WordPress, AWeber, and others.

Integration with Google Analytics is also available in case the built-in tool for measuring visitor metrics and tracking conversion rates does not meet your requirements. It is also helpful that you can export your leads list to a CSV file, which makes it simple to perform analysis and processing on the data.

A/B testing is another method that may be used by marketers to compare two versions of the same landing page in order to determine which one is more successful. This method is similar to Instapage in this regard.

Lastly, I really like how Unbounce’s new artificial intelligence landing page content generation feature works. It gives users the ability to submit a small amount of information about their product offering, and then Unbounce spits out headline and other content ideas, which results in an easier procedure for generating your pages.

Leadpages

Even on the most affordable subscription, Leadpages allows for an unlimited number of page creations, as well as an unlimited number of visitors and leads.

Landing pages created with Leadpages are also compatible with mobile devices and contain a respectable number of integrations, just like those created with Instapage and Unbounce.

The tool provides a selection of very cool templates that are designed to make your life simpler. There are unique templates available for marketing webinars, making upsells and prelaunch sales, as well as for Facebook sites, checkout pages, and other related pages. You can also arrange the results by conversion if you are unsure whether one is the best option for you.

You have the ability to construct landing pages with preloaded features like as photographs, videos, testimonials, partner lists, integration with social networking sites, links, maps, pop-up windows, and other types of interactive material.

In comparison to both Unbounce and Instapage, Leadpages has a distinct advantage over the latter two.

It provides users with two distinct landing page editors: one geared toward beginners and offering only fundamental levels of personalization, and another that caters to more experienced users.

You have complete control over the elements on the page, including the ability to effortlessly rearrange, delete, and add elements thanks to the advanced editor’s support for drag-and-drop operations in their entirety.

Popup window modals are another method that Leadpages employs in order to attract the attention of users. You are not limited to using it on pages that you have created using Leadpages; you can use it on any page. You have the ability to configure the popup so that you may determine when the user will see it.

For example, you can set it to appear when the user clicks a link, moves the cursor over an active element, or wishes to exit the page. Last but not least, one of my favorite features is the “lead meter,” which estimates how well optimized your landing page will be.

Leadpages has a large number of free templates, but they also have a growing ecosystem of paid designs in their marketplace. Some of these paid templates are simply lovely, and the selection is growing.

Leadpages is, in my opinion, the second best choice after Unbounce, given the pricing and rapidly improving design of template sites; the company appears to be investing a lot in enhancing functionality across the board. Unbounce is, in my opinion, the first best choice.

Instapage

Instapage is a straightforward landing page platform that comes with a whole suite of essential features, like A/B testing, lead capture forms, entirely editable layouts, and easy integrations with services such as Mailchimp, Salesforce, and more.

Check out this link for my comprehensive evaluation of Instapage.

I adore it due to the fact that it is so user-friendly and obvious. This landing page software feels like the “Apple” of the industry. The Instapage editor is user-friendly, attractive, and entirely based on drag-and-drop functionality.

Additionally, the configuration is a breeze. To host Instapages on your website, you only need to flick a switch in the settings for your domain, as is the case with the vast majority of landing page software products. Or, if you use WordPress, there is an integration that only requires one click.

I normally begin the process of making a page by selecting one of their more than 200 pre-designed templates.

The drag-and-drop editor on Instapage allows for full customization, and the templates maintain their stunning appearance across all devices. You have the option of using the same typeface, color scheme, and design as your current website. Instapage also delivers pages that are optimized for the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) format.

Instapage includes analytics as a standard feature. You are given the ability to select date ranges, view conversion rates over time, and compare the effectiveness of A/B tests through the analytics dashboards. Instapage Heatmaps are another another fascinating feature that the app offers (note: only available with premium plans).

Heatmaps make it simple to watch the behavior of your visitors (such as how far down the page they have scrolled, on which items your visitors have clicked, and where on your landing page the visitors spend the most time), and to adjust the arrangement of your elements in accordance with this data.

You are able to export a CSV file containing the leads that you capture if you are using Instapage to collect leads through the use of forms.

Alternatively, if your requirements are more intricate, you can transfer the data from your lead capture to applications like as MailChimp, Salesforce, Hubspot, Autopilot, Marketo, Adwords, Drupal, and WordPress.

Downloading a plugin is all that is required to host the landing page masterpieces you’ve created on your website running WordPress or Drupal. Changing your web hosting configuration to host on another website is as straightforward as making a simple modification in those settings.
