Not all can reach the same level. For instance, if you participate in a marathon, one of you will be the winner only. All participants can’t perform equally to hold that position – after all, everyone has different stamina and strategy to compete.
You often compare yourself with someone who is better and more successful than you. You do not need to compare yourself with others. You should understand that keeping up the level you have achieved is also a part of perfection and success. If you are up to the level you were in the past, you have made significant progress, and you should enjoy it.
Say yes to new opportunities dauntlessly
You cannot say yes to even golden opportunities if you have an irrational fear. It is not surprising that people with imposter syndrome turn down career-making opportunities. For instance, if you are thinking to start your own business, you will put it off and continue to do a 9-5 job.
This is because you do not have confidence in running a business. You will have fear like you cannot compete with competitors, how you will target your audience, what if you are caught up in a conspiracy, and so forth.
You keep learning throughout your life. You can come up with opportunities that you are not sure you can do it. Say yes and learn ways how to do it. This approach will be a stepping stone to new things.
